The italian brothers did it again!
I didn't knew nothing about this score until this week-end.. found it.. listened to it.. IT ROCKS !
.. The movie isn't a thriller and/or a cop movie (.. it's a documentary...) but this score is really uplifting!

Very awesome indeed!
you're welcome.
hey Paul, nice post as usual. i just thought I'd point out that in English if you say something blows that means it sucks.
ah ah.. thx anonymous.. will amend the post! i meant it explodes, it's great, it lets us panting.. anyway..
Thank you so much! I've been searching for this soundtrack. Now I just need to find the italian version of "I don't mind about tommorrow": "Non m'importa di domani". Thanks again!
There's a clip on Youtube with the song Thoughts of the Last Moment. Don't watch this if you can't handle graphic content as it shows footage of the tragic death of Tom Pyrce and a track marshal. If you can stomach it though, I recommend the clip as it really captures the silent contemplation that comes over a person immediately after the shock of witnessing such a horrifying event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkRdgu_Lhho
some tracks were used during cosmic parties in Italy (70s80s),
just like track 8 or 4.
rare lp and wonderful lp.
thank you

Hey Paul - I got the Formula Uno album from you a few months ago and I really thought I had posted a thank you (someone else I know wanted the rip so I came to check it was still live) as it is without a doubt the best Guido & Maurizo De Angelis album I have ever heard (and that is a high bench-mark considering how many quality albums they made and the sheer number!) and it was fascinating to read Gianni's post that some of the tracks were played at Italian cosmic disco parties at the end of the seventies....
....some of the tracks sounded like they were made 33 seconds ago never mind 33 years! 'Box', 'Salt Lake Feelings','Speed Fever' and 'Thoughts Of The Last Moment' in particular are so so astounding that the first time I heard them my jaw not only dropped to the floor,it bounced up to the ceiling and back again several times followed by a flury of emails with the title "you have just got to hear this..." ;)
I sometimes think that artists who are involved in the library/low budget/bmovie/soundtrack genres like the De Angelis brothers do not get the credit they deserve and it astounds me that here in England at least, very few people have heard of the brothers (though many of them heard their music unknowingly as kids through the soundtracks they did to eighties cartoons!)..
.....I imagine they are much more well-known in Europe and of course in Italy they must be household names...surely!
This is a very powerful soundtrack!
